Ecaterina Vlădescu Draganovici was born on April 1, 1930, in Bucharest. She graduated from The Institute of Arts "Nicolae Grigorescu", graphics department, Prof. Vasile Kazar class, class of 1957.
She did book illustration, book layout and engraving. She collaborated with the following publishers: "Didactică şi pedagogică", "Editura pentru literatură", "Militară".
The eighties were very fruitful for the illustrator, with many coloring books conceived on various subjects for the appropriate age, but success came her way with the illustration of three famous characters: Rabbit-Sweet-Cabbage and Chester Bear - appeared in several series and editions, with the latter winning the French and English book market, with all 4 volumes of the series.
