György Mihail - was born on September 6, 1930 in Sanmartin, Harghita County. He graduated from the Institute of Fine Arts "Nicolae Grigorescu" of Bucharest and the Academy of Art "IE Repin" of Leningrad in 1959.
He is member of The Artists Union since 1962. His name is related especially to easel graphics, children illustrations, and painting. He had illustrations in various book fairs and exhibitions: Rome (1968), Bratislava (1967), Rabat (1970). His works are present in numerous collections in the country and abroad.
